

This course is designed to add on to the core skills established in Intro to Long Range. In this course, the student will be ranging targets at unknown distances without the use of range finders, developing range cards, as well as learning how to shoot from positions and tripods. In addition, there will be a practical application of holdovers and other methods of rapid engagements. This course will be taught by members of Law Enforcement and the Special Operations Community.

There will be moderate physical activity
Firearms Requirements:
- Precision rifle, bolt action or semi auto (capable of shooting a 5 round group of 1 inch or less at 100 yards) in 5.56mm or greater with bipod (must have cant built in)
- Once piece cleaning rod, bore guide and cleaning equipment (patches and jag)
- Squeeze bag for stock
- Spotting Scope
- Tripod (capable of supporting a rifle)
- Clothing Appropriate for conditions
- Lunch/ snacks note: water and Gatorade will be provided
- Knee/ elbow pads or shooting mat

- Windmeter (Kestrel)
Students must provide their own rifles. There will be no rental weapons.
Ammunition Requirements: 200 rounds match ammunition
