

This course is designed to teach the core skills required to effectively engage targets at an extended distance with a precision rifle. The student will be immersed in all the technical aspects of weapon and scope set up, understanding of key fundamentals to consistently delivering precise fire and methods of reading the environment. Additionally, the student will be educated in methods of observation, building coding, scouting for search warrant service. This course will be taught by members of Law Enforcement and the Special Operations Community.

There will be moderate physical activity
Firearms Requirements:
- Precision rifle, bolt action or semi auto (capable of shooting a 5 round group of 1 inch or less at 100 yards) in 5.56mm or greater with bipod (must have cant built in)
- Once piece cleaning rod, bore guide and cleaning equipment (patches and jag)
- Squeeze bag for stock
- Spotting Scope and Tripod
- Kestrel 5700 windmeter (there will be a specific course on the use of the Kestrel 5700)
Not required but suggested
- Range Finder
Students must provide their own rifles. There will be no rental weapons.
Ammunition Requirements: 200 rounds match ammunition

- Clothing Appropriate for conditions
